Serving as an FIU Alumna Judge at the Wall of Wind Challenge 2026

Serving as a judge at Florida International University’s Wall of Wind Challenge 2026 was a meaningful experience for me both professionally and personally. Representing EAC Consulting Inc. at an event hosted by my alma mater gave me the chance to give back while supporting the next generation of students exploring engineering and STEM.

What stood out most was the creativity, teamwork, and resilience the students brought to the competition. Watching high school teams from across South Florida test their structures against hurricane-force winds was a reminder of how powerful hands-on learning can be. Events like this help students connect classroom ideas to real engineering challenges and build confidence early in their journey.

As an FIU alumna, the experience felt especially rewarding. I am grateful for the opportunity to contribute to an initiative that brings together education, mentorship, and real-world engineering while encouraging future engineers to keep building, testing, and asking better questions.
